Acrylic

Especially with Craft 'Professionals' and enthusiasts in mind, Swann-Morton has produced two acrylic handles, the 5A and 6A with a nickel blade fitting that takes standard surgical blades (see illustrations below). The 5A handle is supplied in blister packs complete with 5 individually packed No. 10A blades in 10-pack units.

The 6A handle is also supplied in blister packs complete with 5 individually packed No. 26 blades in 10-pack units.

Pointed pliers should be used when attaching and removing a blade.
